What do I have, ready to replace
2017 M240iX, bought used from a dealer, certified. They demanded to put new tires on it to 'certify' it and charge me of course. They said they had to put run-flats on it because that was original equipment.
How do you identify them though, it appears that the internet says they would have "zp" printed on the side-wall, which I cannot find. They are MPSS. I'm ready to buy new wheels and I was gonna buy new tires but if they aren't run-flats, then I don't need to. ALSO, the tires they put on are NOT the same size Front, 225/40/18 88Y Rear, 245/35/18 92Y How big of a problem is that? Thanks for any help. I'm gonna start a different thread about my wheels. That's normal stock tire size since you have a staggered setup (rear wheel is wider than the front, so it uses a wider tire).
