Hey everybody. I have a great 2018 m240i which went back to the dealer earlier this year. I had paid to have a performance exhaust put on it after pick up, and just realized I still have the original exhaust system in my basement. It has less than 200 km on it, and it’s in perfect shape. Willing to let it go pretty cheap for someone who will pick it up.

I'd guess it will be wanted by the fourth owner after the car has 135K and it's been driven in the winter where the roads get salted. Too late then, of course.

Another possibility is when a lessee put an aftermarket exhaust on his car and got rid of the original exhaust without knowing he'd need or want to have it reinstalled. I once bought a very nice stainless aftermarket exhaust for a good price under that circumstance.

I've tossed perfectly good stock cat-back exhausts before when there were no buyers in the market. Sometimes that's the best solution to cleaning out the garage, esp. when moving.

Bingo. Got the performance exhaust immediately after lease delivery, and just gave it back to them with it. Completely forgot this existed.
Was willing to let it go for a song, but likely off to the dump.
