228i mild track build

Doing some fairly mild but should be very helpful mods to my 2015 228i. Very excited to add an MCS 2 way non-remote damper system with existing GC camber plates. Parts ordered and will be installed and set up by AR Motorsports in Portland, OR. Love this forum which is full of great info for newbies like me. Special thanks to dradernh who has been very generous in sharing his wealth of info.
Just got some Schroth Quick Fit Pro 4 way harnesses, upgraded rotors with Zimmerman + Ferodo DS1.11 pads (squealy little bastards in town), Apex Arc8 18X8.5" et45 +5mm spacer. I'll post some photos as things happen. I'm new to driving track days but have done motorcycle track days for almost 15 years. Its interesting to experience the similarities which are significant! My home track is the Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton WA. Probably where I'll do most of my track days.

Well this is familiar! Looking forward to seeing where this build goes and to hear about your track day experiences with it. Pretty good looking mod list. Still need to tackle the oil pan baffle myself. Cheers

Subscribed. How are the MCs on street & track?

Spring rates sound pretty high compared to what I've seen posted for TC Kline & others.

The MCS is GREAT. Totally happy with this choice. 100% better everywhere. I'm learning but between the suspension and new tires (falkens) I shaved 6+ seconds off my lap times at the Ridge (1:57/2:04). Fixed the body roll, most of the under steer and the car feels planted. Those are the rates my shop recommended for the car. The car is fine on the street although I used it 80% track.
