Long Time Lurker on the 2Addicts Forum - Hi Everyone!

I've had my Glacier Silver M235i since August last year.

Here's a list of mods done to it:
  • CTS Turbo Intake
  • VRSF 5" Stepped FMIC
  • VRSF Charge Pipe
  • VRSF Turbo Inlet Pipe
  • Bootmod3 Stage 2 91 Octane
  • H&R Sport Springs, swapping to vogtland soon
  • MP Exhaust
  • TCKline Camber Plates
  • M4 Lower Control Arm
  • M4 Tension Strut with SPL Parts bushing
  • Apex ARC8R 18x8.5 ET 35 with Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 245/40/18 (Not on car yet)
  • MP Front Lip
  • GazP Side Skirts
  • GazP Rear Extensions
  • MPE Rear Diffuser
  • CF GTX Rear Spoiler
  • CF M Style Mirror Caps
  • Smoked Sequential LED turn signals
  • MP Carbon Exhaust Tips

I am saving up now for an LSD and a set of proper coilovers, I am thinking maybe KW V2 or Bilsteins.

Thanks,

Lance

Yo!

Great looking ride. I LOVE these cars in silver. Second best color...haha...

When are you putting on the wheels??? I am thinking of a set for my daily wheels. I have 19" BBS now and want to get some 18's so I am not so stressed about bending a $3k+ wheel set. Looking foreward to how they look!

I am getting them mounted in a week or two. Just need to get it booked at a shop as I will need to get an alignment. 18x8.5 et 35 will not fit in the front without camber plates.

Actually, it is from my research. There is a local M235i where I live and he is running 245/35 on 18x8.5 +35 Apex FL-5's with Dinan springs only. Looks awesome and he claims no rub sans some deep g-outs on the hiway.

I will confirm with him when I see him next. And do not get me wrong, I am aware of the pitfalls of the improper sized wheels and the need for camber plates for certain combinations (this car is SO limited). I plan to get Millway Street camber plates very soon to cover all my options (Bilstein B16 as well). I too have studied these forums and others to make sure I do it right. I am thankful for this forum for sure!

FWIW, I am running BBS CHR 19x8 et40/19x9 et44 with 10mm spacers front and rear. So effective ET is 30 front, 34 rear. 225 out front 255 out back. The only rub I get is again, on large g-outs (barely touches the liner). I was very surprised they fit to be honest. When I lower the car I will more likely have to ditch the rear spacers, but the front will be fine. The front NEEDED to not be so tucked in...

ANYWAY, I am really looking forward to seeing fresh pics. And maybe a video?

cheers!
josh

PS, I just saw you have a CTS intake. Just got mine a couple weeks ago and LOVE it...

Ugh... The reason I haven't put the wheels on yet is because I am waiting for TCKline to send me the correct top strut nut for the camber plates. I am using the stock one right now but it's only half threaded.

Great looking ride man. I'm assuming the warranty on the 235 is over by now, so this will not be of use... but there is moisture present in those rear tail lamps. I had the same issue and had both of my rear lamps replaced under warranty. This issue on the F22 is somewhat common. Probably some cost cutting with the sealing or vibration welding from the OEM lamp supplier. Hopefully, it doesnt turn into too big of an issue.

Apparently there is a way to get the M2 LCI tail lights through warranty. I had a friend do it.

I have 19x8.5 +38 with 235/35z19 on Dinan lowering springs and have no rubbing issues at all.

Hope this helps.

Congrats, looks great.
For me, Glacier Silver M235i will always be the one that got away. Bailed on it last minute and went with the Mk 7 Golf R a few years ago.
Love that color.

I just bought some carbon tips from ebay, the stock MPE tips are too small for the diffuser. Were you looking to get some as well?
