Cold start issue

After installing the Dinan exhaust I am
Having a issue on a cold start . The car starts then cuts off. Always starts on the second try . This is only happening first thing in the morning . Is it due to lack of back pressure/valve ? Is this normal ? Car runs great and no issues

Some other intakes, IE. BMS (burger tuning) intake for F22 has stumbling/rough idle issues reported by certain users.

It may be a game of Process of elimination to figure out which part or what combination of parts is causing it.

Thanks dude. Just installed back the stock intake with a drop in filter and honestly I feel like the car shifts smoother also but I could be my imagination. Car still runs good . Will have to wait till the car is cold to see if it's over but I did have the issues u mentioned. Do you think the Dinan intake will be the same ?

No worries mate !! I hope not regarding the Dinan as I want to test that and the AWE also. I will be very shocked if removing the afe intake doesnt solve your cold start issue. Keep me posted on the outcome

Yeah I figured as much !! This happened to me mate thats why I knew exactly what it was. Give the car a few days to adapt it will get stronger and stronger as the wonky air sensor data is altered. Throttle response will be crisp and torque will return.
