Unhappy Need help on getting the right spec wheels

Hey all, recently found a listing on some wheels I'd like to buy as a set of 4:

The spec is: 18x9.5 +38 5x120

The only thing that concerns me is if this will work on a 2014 M235i with no issues. I've seen people say an 8.5 wheel width works, but anything over that may encounter problems. Is there a solution to this or these wheels can work?

That would be the widest wheel I have seen on an F22.
I am running 18 x 8.5 et 40 and a 255 tire in back. no rubbing but there is not much room.

Not a professional, but from what I've read I don't think the 9.5 would fit up front. I don't think it would clear the strut. Check willtheyfit.com to confirm and compare to stock specs and clearances. You could run spacers but then you'd have ridiculous poke.

Check out apex’s f22 Fitment guide. And there are a couple of threads on here that will help you ‘narrow down’ workable fitments. VMR wheels and non-VMR threads have many to look at in one place for your research. Have fun, the research is part of the journey.

And remember that wheels can bend or come out of round in ways that it is hard to eyeball, and impossible to spot in photos; those 'too good to be true' used wheels may actually be scrap metal (but you can get almost $15 scrap price for an aluminum wheel, at least here in NY).

I find that it's at least half the fun – if wasn't, I'd look for another hobby. My 2¢, of course.
