Engine Knocking 228i with bootmod3

https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=5f6e...90c62fc576e288

Can anyone help me with looking at this log? I'm getting knock and not sure what to do.

Trying a e30 tune. Should I not drive my car while knocks are being detected?

"knocking" is detonation caused by the air/fuel mixture igniting before the piston reaches TDC, and it can cause severe damage to the engine. Either increase the octane level of your fuel or remove the tune.

What you do is dial back the boost and timing or you get the hell outta that tune. Don't blow up your shit.

The thing is the knock shows up without the tune

This shows up everywhere the tune has no effect per the BM3 guys. I'm feeling like it's a false detect

This is super hard to look at or determine anything, knocking at lower RPMs isn't necessarily the end of the world. Please run the logs again while doing pulls in 3rd or 4th gear and taking the car to redline.

is there some type of explanation for low RPM knocks?

The PFT guys got back to me and says my pulls don't show any issues and those knocks were probably there prior to the tune which I suspect too

Is this just a N20 thing?

What are they talking about...? Knock there prior to tune! Unless it's faulty Knock sensors, which you should then have checked out. The knock is pre-ignition! This is caused by various factors! Ignition is simple, air, fuel, spark! That's it! Bad plugs? Plugs gapped correctly? They're ok, and sensors are ok, then it can only be "air" "fuel" or "spark" which is all related to the "tune"...

You need to run scans as noted and record the knock when it's happening to know.

Good luck!
