Dinan exhaust BSM 230i black or polished tips?

BSM 230i Msport with stock diffuser, would the dinan exhaust look better with black tips or the polished tips?

I have looked for images but can't find a picture of one installed on a BSM f22. However, I may suck at search.

All opinions welcome.

I personally prefer chrome tips even though I hate chrome otherwise. They stand out against the dark diffuser. My car is white with chrome 340i tips though, so my pics probably won't be too helpful.

Black; understated exhaust, as it should be on this vehicle...

If I did eventually get an msport diffuser and it is black then I would probably want the polished but with the gray diffuser I think the black would look good....

2 follow up questions if anyone reads this thread:

Get muffler shop, indy bmw shop or dealer to install Dinan exhaust?

Does anyone know if Dinan has a black friday sale?

Check out AWE they make a nicer product with interchangeable tips. You could swap easily if you change your mind down the road. They also have a mounting point for the stock valve. The DINAN zip tie method is lazy engineering and doesn't sit well with me.

While I agree with you, AWE does not appear to make an exhaust for the 230i.

Ah that sucks. I only looked for my 328 assumed they made one for the 230.

What is this zip tie method you are referring to?

Never mind, I looked at the instructions. I am not too upset by that...not using it and keeping it on there makes some sense I guess.
