bootmod3 8-speed auto trans flash

Hey guys, I'm wondering if anyone has successfully bm3 TCU flashed there m235i?

looks like its "(beta) upgraded 8-speed automatic TCU flash" but it just fails when i try to flash. wasn't sure if i'm doing something wrong, if it's not ready (hence "beta"), or if there was another license?

i was reading somewhere on here about torque limiting so thought i'd see what i couldn't find in my bm3 tune.. not sure i found anything, but i'm not a computer guy so have real short attention span when stuff ain't work'n. is there another place to change those settings? i'm running OTS stage 1 93 octane.

I was told by BM3 support that it will fail unless you have a M2/M3/M4. So it seems that it's not for M235i at this time.

They started the beta 5 weeks ago, so I'm guessing by the end of the month it will be released. BM3 keeps making their flash better all the time.

Has any done this yet? If so, what is your experience?

i did, it didn't seem to make a difference to me. if you want a TCU flash, go with Xhp.

might as well try it though, it's worked for me for about a year now but it's not noticeably different. i can't even tell if I'm on stock or flashed TCU right now.

I did flashed mine (BM3) last week. I think it made difference, but I'd probably have to flash back to OEM to know for sure. Something about tunes and bolt ons, I seem to get used to the added performance too quickly, and forgot how the car previously behaved.
