Will HRE FF10s fit the m240i

I've been looking to get these for the m240i, but I'm worried that they won't fit correctly. Will I have any issues fitting these? Will I need spacers? Will it restrict me from lowering the car later? Any help would be appreciated.

You won't need spacers but the offsets are a little low so you might rub the fenders depending on tire size. 8.5 width and 30mm offset up front is 5mm more than most people run so lowering and wide tires will likely cause rubbing. 9.5 width and 42mm in the rear is really close to the 45mm that's commonly used so likely ok depending on tire size and brand. In summary you can run them but camber suspension and tires will all factor in to whether they rub.

Thanks! What would you recommend to avoid rubbing? I'm guessing to avoid lowering, and maybe adding some wheel spacers instead.

If you lower you may need camber plates to avoid rubbing, spacers will push the wheels further out so they will hurt not help.

Ah okay. Sorry, it's my first time actually messing with any sort of suspension, and it's a little complicated. Would the camber plates have any negative affects on handling? I've read that they sometimes have issues with rattling.

Running 19s of any sort may be unwise depending on road conditions near you...

I don't have them but have heard they can rattle, handling should be sharper but can also increase tire wear. There are websites that can help calculate the changes between tires and wheels. https://tiresize.com/wheel-offset-calculator/

The roads aren't too bad here in the PNW. We have a few rough roads in Portland, but I'm pretty good at avoiding them. Once you get out of the city and into the state and national forests, the roads become buttery smooth for the most part.

Thanks again, I really appreciate the info. I think I'm just going to avoid lowering the car, and throw a set of sway bars on to reduce body roll instead. I'd like the wheels more than I'd like to lower the car.

Be kind of nice if we had more options to modify our suspension.
