Note: You must finance or lease the vehicle to get the rebate. The rebate is from BMW financial. |

Yea but the question would be...is it worth financing it thru BMW for 5yrs at 3.19 to get the 1k or finance it thru another source for 1.99 and pass on the 1k....

That was my thought. Credit unions here are offering 1.59% and Key Bank is offering 2.5%. BMW needs the rebate to be competitive.

I am going with BMW FS for a few months to take advantage of incentives and then refinancing with my credit union at 1.49%.

I'm thrilled about this 1k. I ordered months ago and am finally taking Euro delivery next week so going in to do my paperwork in the next couple of days. I just confirmed that I can take advantage of this.

I contacted my dealer, and the indication is that it applies regardless of payment method. |

No source other than I only see it listed in the financing and lease sections. If it's applicable otherwise, awesome and I would stand corrected but as far I as I understand these types of rebates are only available when you use BMWFS.

Got confirmation from my dealer as well, getting the $1K. Not sure if I mentioned it here or on another thread but check your dealer websites. Mine has a $750 coupon on all new 2014 sales, will pull that out at the last minute and see if they will honor it.

Also, where did you look to find the coupon? Was it pretty conspicuous, or totally buried in the bowels of the site? |

OMG this is awesome news! I feel sorry for the early deliveries though. Oh well I guess all the waiting is paying off. Literally!

About as conspicuous as it gets. I was told in Jan when they had a similar coupon that they couldn't use it since the car wasn't coming until May, will try again with this one. Never ask, never get.

Actually this should serve as a tip for anyone taking delivery close to the end of the month, if it's just a day or two different might as well wait until the first of the next month to see if deal is better. You can always stay with whatever the best deal you locked in to-date is. |

Haven't heard back from my dealer as yet but wondering what every one is planning on doing with the extra $1000 off? Performance options maybe?

Hey I'm a guy and my first thought was more performance parts like a front lip or an exhaust or spoiler lol
You know you thought of it also hehe

There are many monthly programs BMW uses. Many of them are BMWFS programs, loyalty for instance, is only available if you used BMWFS for the purchase. Same with the recent grad, etc. But I have seen option credits available for buyers who did not finance at all (cash buyers). So, really only a reputable CA would be able to confirm, or someone who paid cash and just took delivery.

They may offer it depending on their situation. This sounds like dealer contribution cash that they can use at their discretion. If they want to move old inventory, for instance. If you're already getting a screaming deal, they may not offer. But you're right. Ask and see.

Haha, trust me I understand. I just have my shopping list pretty much locked down, so not looking for anything "new" per se. This $1K is earmarked for winter wheels and tires. I got $800 from a set of VW rims I was saving for an S3, add this in and I'm fully funded for Blizzaks and Enkei Raijins. WIN!
