M240i brake noises

Hi, I recently purchased a 2019 M240i and I have been having these weird brake creaking sounds when I press the brakes after starting the car and it seems to disappear after the car warms up. The sound comes up when I put the car in D and slowly release the brakes and when I come to a stop. I'm thinking maybe I need new brake pads and rotors unless this is the notorious m brake sound.

Sounds to me like the brakes arent engaging, then engaging. Like they are sticking. Any stutter or skipping feeling in the pedal? Have you checked the brake fluid level? Is it only the rear brakes?

It's only the front brakes, I don't feel any stutters or anything the car feels perfectly fine. I haven't checked the brake fluid level but I am going to go check and ill get back to you.

So I ended up taking the vehicle to a bmw specialist and turns out the noise is completely normal. I guess since I’m out in Houston our humidity causes the brakes to creak.

The brakes on all the BMWs we have owned squeal on first use after a long rest. And the larger the diameter, the more they squeal. Next time, look at the disks and you will see how rusted they are. It's the nature of the beast.
