2 Series Mirror Cap Colour Options???

So I've been searching the internet everywhere and all directions seem to point that the M235i/M240i are assembled with Ferric Grey Mirror covers. I've been searching everywhere to see if there is anywhere I can purchase body painted mirror covers and the only place is IND. Are the body coloured mirror covers even available to purchase?? I bought a Mineral White M235i and really want to match the mirror covers in Mineral White!!

It seems my only option is either IND or get it painted at a body shop. Say it ain't so?

Correct, though I will say the IND mirrors are excellent. They are painted OEM covers and the color match was excellent with my BSM.

I have heard the 3/4 series mirror covers can fit as well if they are the same style. Frankly was just easier to get the IND ones for me.

BentZero, I'm surprised you didn't either 1. go with the front reflector delete or 2. change to smoke reflectors in the front. Your car looks amazing and I've seen your pics/posts on many other threads. I've considered whether or not I would want the M Performance side decals as well along with a gloss black roof wrap. But that would mean that I need to either 1. get a M performance rear diffuser to match or wrap the stock diffuser to black. or 2. just go for the full stock look.

I really like the roof wrap thing and it is very tempting... I want my car to stand out from the others just a little bit so it's noticeable.

Thanks Siwo! I'm torn between clear reflectors or painted, so I'm holding off. It really doesn't bother me until I see a pic of my car lol. I'll change to led turn signals at the same time to get rid of all of the orange. If I get a wrap I'll be doing gloss black and plan on wrapping the stock diffuser in gloss black as well.

I just learned that clear/smoke reflectors are available on eBay for pretty dirt cheap! I may just go for the clear (looks more like just silver) and call it a day.

BentZero: Here is the link to the Clear Reflectors:

But if somehow the smoked reflectors float your boat then here it is:

I believe the factory mirror caps on the 228 are the same as for the M235i, except they are painted body color, so why not just get the ones from BMW for a 228 that are the color of your car?

Good thought on that. Yeah that's an option but I wonder what BMW dealers charge for these parts. If it's overpriced then naw... I haven't gotten my car yet but I'll see how the Ferric Grey looks on the Mineral White body before I decide to want to change them or not.

I'm stuck deciding between clear and smoke on white car too. Does anyone feel the smoke are "ricey"? I like the whole contrast look so im debating on the smoke vs the clear
