Looking at the M240 Convertible: $500 increase. Leather goes down $100, No more DAP and Premium Package seems to have absorbed some of the DAP features and goes up $250. PDC is now STD, so I wonder what Parking Assistance is for $200? Garage Door opener no longer STD.
Thanks for posting the updated info! Edit: Option for Option on my build, the 2019 is actually $600 cheaper than the 2018. Last edited by Vitacura; 06-11-2018 at 07:14 PM.. |

Thanks for the update! Looks like with the Park Distance Control becoming standard (instead of $800, you pay $200 for the assistant) and Apple Carplay going to a subscription system ($80/year after the first free year instead of a one-time $300 charge), the overall cost of the car went down.
My configuration (M240i, Premium/Driving Assistance/Park Distance/Adaptive LED/Carplay) went from $50,650 to $49,850. I wasn't really planning on using Carplay after everything I've heard on the forums...meh. I'll go in a corner and console myself with the fact the car goes into production next week. |

Configured as closely as possible to my 2018 M240, the 2019 M240 is $1,000 less expensive.
The differences are…
I don’t know whether to be happy or sad. If I keep the car for 10 years or more, I’ll be ahead. Otherwise….? |

Correction: I didn't include the $995 delivery fee on the 2018.
A basic 2018 230i Msport with HK audio has MSRP of $42,070. For 2019 the same build has MSRP of $42,270 and does not have the universal garage door opener. Price increase of $200 and no garage door opener. 2018 M240i w/HK audio + Prem. pkg MSRP $50,120 Same config 2019 MSRP $50,720 Increase of $600. Last edited by RPM90; 06-28-2018 at 05:46 PM.. |

What I want to know is if the Adaptive Cruise Control is truly radar based or only camera based? The pre-LCI 2 series didn't offer it and on the X1 and X2 I believe it's camera based (as it is on MINIs). |
