How to tell if my M235i is on stock map/tune?
Hey everyone I recently got a 2014 M235i, and I thought I knew my stuff coming from a '16 328i auto, but there's some changes on this car I'm still trying to piece together..
Its got all the OEM carbon/alcantera trim, and tail lights retrofitted from a 2018+ LCI. I'm going to lift it soon and see if the diff has been changed, and visit the dealer it's been serviced at it's whole life to see what else they can tell me apart from the carfax. Anyway the car feels like it makes 320hp and is tuned to stock, but its just my butt dyno testing. I have a BMW E-Net cable, just curious if someone can point me in right direction for verifying the tune on it is stock? |

Usually, if it is tuned you can see if the sport gauges have a higher number than stock. Stock gauges go up to like 400hp and a tuned one will have up to like 560hp I believe. Also, boost will be turned up (stock is like 9 to 10 psi I believe) so if you have a way to monitor boost through an app or something that is worth checking. If you have bootmod or mhd you can datalog and check the parameters and see if your boost is turned up
