Baseline 1/4 mile run in my 6-Speed M235i

So I just bought my car last week and wanted to go to my local track to test out my suspicion that my car really does feel quite slow

I love the car but it certainly doesn't feel like 320hp/330tq. I ended up running a 13.997@101.47 and had a decent 60 foot for a manual and run flats, a 2.073. So my question is what have you other 6mt guys ran? I ordered a cp and fmic from CTS turbo and will be tuning it so it should wake up the car

Ouch!

Be careful: if a Pontiac Aztek pulls up on you, you might think twice about racing for pink slips.

Seems slow but another rwd 6 spd guy I know also ran 13.9 so maybe that's about right?

Mid 13s at 105-107mph is the norm for 6mt M235s.

What driving mode were you in?

What rpm were you shifting at?

I ran with everything off... Shifter near red line... I did notice I could have probably ran the end finishing in 3rd rather than shifting to 4th. Now have FMIC and CP and Bm3 stage 1 car pulls really good. Will go to the track once they open back up

Cool thanks for the comparison! I just ran again after performing my company's engine treatments to the car and was able to trap 110mph essentially. I only got one run in and had a terrible launch and 60 foot so only ran 13.6. But seems like a 13@110 is attainable since you've done it

Oh and forgot to add that I have an intercooler and charge pipe with bm3 stage 1. Before engine treatments ran 13.3@108
