Xenon beam pattern issue

I changed my xenon bulbs out with a brand of bulbs that reviews told me would be better than stock, and they were trash, so i switched them back, and now I notice my beam patterns are all screwy. When i put them in, they sit nice and flush, but the beam pattern is all wrong, the hotspot is screwed up, and its all swirly, and not flat. I switched the bulbs again, and had the exact same issue, so i'm super worried. Has anyone else had this happen? Should I just take it to the dealer and have them try to fix it? I'm out of warranty now, so I'm scared they're going to just suggest I change the headlight out entirely, and the adaptive xenons are not cheap to replace.
