Is it Bad

It was all fun until this happened. How bad the damage is going to be ? Anyone with a similar incident ?

Can't help with the damage but thanks for the pics which show the decals on the sill. I have some for my Valencia Orange and can't decide whether to fit them or not.

Now I have my answer.

Did you hit a curb or did something else happen? Asking because your wheel doesn’t look damaged. I had an unwelcome meeting with a curb a while back and all it took was a new control arm. I also chose to repair my oem wheel instead of replacing it. It only had superficial damage and the tire was fine as well.

I did hit a curb at about 15km I would say! But the car felt wired.

A few bent control arm type parts. Probably $1000ish plus alignment. You can save a lot of cost if you can do the work yourself. Probably a few hundred plus and alignment.

I'm not going to.

On the OP car it looks spot on in white. In Valencia Orange it's going to look like a dogs dinner.

Looks like bent toe arms or camber arms. Likely a few hundred bucks (links are not very expensive, nor is labour). If it's the lower control arm itself, then could be a bit more.

Have an alignment shop or BMW check it out for you, definitely not healthy to drive on it like that.

I just got my car back! I did not expect to have a bill of ($6200). I'm glad to have her back! No more DSC off for the season.

How in the hell did that cost $6,200 CA? Did they replace the subframe (highly unlikely because the suspension parts usually bend/break before the subframe)? Otherwise, I hope insurance covered it because that seems extremely excessive.

That's along the lines of what I imagined when I saw your wheel cocked-out like that in the photo. Suspension damage is not cheap to fix on BMWs, even if you use an independent for labor and buy the parts at a discount.
