my first BMW

Ordered my first BMW 230i at the end of Feb. It is finally on the boat! Estimate to arrive at Halifax on Apr 21. And then another week or so before arriving at the dealer. Hopefully everything will be all ready by beginning of May. Super excited

My other car is on the Tosca too. Sucks that we can't track it while it's crossing the Atlantic. At least my tracking only updated while it was close to the coast. But maybe I used the wrong site...
Anyway - where are you located? If you are in Ontario - it's more like 10-14 days from Halifax to the dealer, usually.

I hope it wasn't a convertible.. But if so, I hope it was built with the boot. Because if it wasn't, you're going to be waiting..

Outside of that... Congrats! I'm also waiting on my 1st BMW too!

Located in GTA. I was using the Marine Traffic website to track it, but the position hasn't updated for 3 days, so I can only hope it is somewhere in the middle of Atlantic Ocean, and she is enjoy her beauty sleep

And timing will be good, because it will be fully spring by the time it arrives!

Mine's 6MT/RWD/Alpine White - but with red interior and "cloth top".

It's my first new BMW...I've owned a 1968 1600 and the current DD is a 2002 325i with 165,000 miles.

I went with:

6MT rwd coupe
Estoril Blue/Terra Dakota/Brushed trim
Nav
Heated seats
Ferric Gray wheels

I may get the limited-slip diff later, but that's easy as it's a dealer installed part.

Congrats! my has landed in Halifax. Now it is just the trucking part left. Almost there!

That's exciting! Mine has entered production, so I've got maybe six weeks if I'm lucky....but more likely eight weeks.

After I take delivery I'm gonna go to a coder and have a couple things changed...remove the legal disclaimer form the iDrive, and have the doors unlock when I shut the engine off. The "double pull" to unlock, then open, is something I really dislike about my current 325i.

The night before you pick up the car should not be an issue. I had more trouble sleeping the night I took delivery; I didn't want to stop driving it!
