Coding a repeatable close-chirp

Hi everyone,

I have an M240i, and when I close it the car chirps.

Now, given that I live in LA I quite often loose my car on a giant parking lot. On many cars you have the option to just repeatably press the 'close' button, and the car will honk. Kinda like setting of the alarm on the BMW, but much less obnoxious.

Can this be coded in any way?

Of course it's possible to activate the alarm chirp by coding it.

But only if you have 302 (Alarm) Option from factory.
Check your VIN on some vin decoder site and check whether it got 302 option or not.

Totally, I have 302, and the car chirps when I close it. I just want to be able to 'repeat' it. So when I press the close button 10 times, it should chirp 10 times. Makes it easier to find the car in a parking lot.

Unlike less intelligent systems in other cars that just continue to try moving the locking system to the locked state each time you press the lock button, the BMW system has a different function when it is locked and you press lock again - it arms the alarm system immediately with a second press then it turns on the interior lights with another press. I don't see anything from a coding option perspective which would change this function.

The only way to get multiple chirps is to toggle it between lock and unlock repeatedly,

Pressing the panic button would make noise continually, though
