I mean don’t know how the OEM ones feel, but these have to be close. I just scrolled through the reviews before buying and several people that had oem ones said they were very close. The brake is the hardest one to slip on as you take the rubber off the stock and pull it over but even that takes just an extra 5 mins. Overall you can’t go wrong for only 20 bucks.

My Civic has metal pedals, they look nice but your feet slide off them a lot with wet shoes.

Meh, just more things to polish.

They're $290 on the configurator if I order them on the car, $165 if I buy them from the BMW accessories site. Anyone know if they're the same?

For those of you who have them: Installation difficulty, or just remove the rubber pedal covers and slip the new ones on? Do you like them, or do you not even notice them anymore?

On one hand, they could be considered frivolous bling, but then again, why not!
Have them on my car. Love them. Zero issues. Dealer installed them.

I'm all about them. Totally adds a premium and sporty visual touch when opening the door and entering the vehicle. It was the first thing my cousin noticed when he checked out my interior and he was quick to compliment them. Got my authentic BMW stainless pedal covers for $120 from www.bmwpartspros.com. Super easy to install with a standard compact drill or better yet, a right-angle drill. If you only have a regular drill, you'll likely need to compress the clutch pedal with your off-hand in order to get enough clearance for the drill bit to come in perpendicular to the pedal surface. Easiest job ever, really.

Yeah, as I mentioned in post #9, it's really simple so I don't know why people freak out. It's a metal plate you're drilling into so there's no way to screw things up. I have an auto tranny so it was even easier than yours. One less pedal and no clutch to depress. Worst case scenario, you drill the hole wrong, so you put the cover on and it covers it lol I've added pedals to every one of my cars over the past 20 years.

Just installed the Amazon pedals today on my M235 and I am very impressed. Had to warm up the brake pedal a bit to ease it on but both accelerator pedal and brake look awesome and fit nice and tight. Highly recommended

I've had the Amazon pedals for 3 years. They look good and no issues in the time I've had them.

The Chinese knockoffs rust! They look like stainless but in reality are not. We got some snow this week and the road salt quickly destroyed them.

Yikes.

Update on my dealer-installed ones, very happy with them. Look great, and the rubber on them seems to provide sufficient grip even in problematic weather.

Yeah, they're fine in problematic weather. I was a bit worried about it at first, but I've had them for a few years and no issues whatsoever.

I got exactly the same ones from Amazon, I couldn't remember but just checked my order history.

I put mine on in October 2015 and they're solid, look almost good as new, solid feel underfoot... no problems whatsoever.

It is a bitch to install; I broke like 3 titanium drill bits for steel trying to penetrate the clutch and brake pedals, the gas was plastic, so that was pretty easy..

If I had to do it again, I would pay the dealer the extra money to install that one particular mod at the port..
Those look pretty darn good for the $. How do they feel?

They feel a little more sturdy than the stock rubber because of the protruding groves.

However, I just love how it looks, complete, because it matches the stock M dead pedal.

I got these. I normally don't like to skimp on cost/quality, but these are awesome at this price point.

have been using my ebay $35 ones for close to a year. No issues whatsoever and completely spruces up the interior and looks the part. this is just one of those things i cant fathom going BMW original parts, it's literally 15 times the cost.
