I don't have the feature on my '17 F87. I heard it could be coded on but have yet to see confirmation. Hopefully someone can figure it out.

I contacted BMW Genius about this and they told me

"Thanks for contacting the BMW Genius Team.

The BMW 2 Series does not offer screen mirroring. This feature is currently only available on the BMW 5 Series, 6 Series, 7 Series, X5 and X6. We do not have any information regarding plans to offer this feature on the BMW 2 Series. We regret any disappointment this may cause."

Almaretto, would you happen to know where it is on the coding cheat sheet?
I'm still waiting for my car to be delivered so I haven't dived into looking through the car for the miracast.

By you saying you can code this in does it mean I would no longer have to buy a Bimmertech Smart View HD to cast my Android screen?
I would save so much money if I could just code it since I already have the cable.

It is part of my Launcher Cheat Codes. I do not use cheat sheets.

Almaretto, I just want to prep everything before my car arrives so I can enjoy Google Maps on that beautiful iDrive screen

Regarding ESYS software are you using: ESYS 3.28.1
as for the PSDZDATA that is found off ******* correct?

I also have the cable + dedicated computer so I beleive I'm good to go!

There is no advantage to 3.28.1 over 3.27.1. You just need light version of Psdzdata the is >= your I-Step.

Thanks. I got it to work. I did have a 2nd language there. Unfortunately I assume my iDrive is v4 since its 2014
