Upgrading to wider PS4S tires on stock wheels
My OEM PSS tires are about worn out and I'm ready to replace them with PS4S tires. I have a stock 2017 RWD M240i with the staggered 225/40/18 and 245/35/18 setup with 7.5 inch front wheels and 8.0 inch rear wheels. I'm not looking to replace my wheels or add any spacers/camber which seem to be what most of the threads I found with a search are doing. I just want to know what is the widest tire sizes on the front and back I can go to keeping everything else stock. Thanks!

225/40-18 PS4S require 7.5 to 9.0” wheels and 245/35-18 require 8.0 to 9.5” wheels. 235/40-18 require 8.0 to 9.5” and 255/35-18 require 8.5 to 10”. |
