My Experience with AR Motorwerks

I am relating my experience with AR Motorwerks to simply inform others in the forum.

I purchased BBS RF's for my M240i during their end of 2018 sale.
In January after a week or so Ron @ AR contacted me to let me know that they were not in stock at AR, however BBS America had them and they were verifying they had the wheels in a full set.

The wheels arrived in good order, however BBS sent et47 for the front wheels and I ordered et35. I then reached out to Ron, he emailed BBS who stated they would exchange the wheels or provide spacers. Ron kept me up to date and appraised everything in a timely fashion. In the same day that Ron sent the email advising BBS of my decision to get spacers, I received the reply from BBS indicating that they would send the spacers and longer wheel bolts. I offered to pay for rear wheels bolts for everything to match, BBS sent them for free.

I want to recommend Ron, AR Motorwerks and BBS for a supremely pleasant experience and customer service. They have earned a customer for life.

Good to hear and kudos to them. Any vendor is great to buy from when things go smoothly, it's how they handle inevitable mixups occur.

On a related note it didn't hurt that you were understanding and patient!

Got pictures of the RF's on the car? I like the wheel but haven't seen anyone run them yet.

No pics yet... Winter is still here, they aren't going on until end of March at the earliest.

Personally I would never accept spacers in place of wheels of the correct offset, but I appreciate the vendor feedback.

They offered me the et 35 or the spacers - I chose spacers because I can adjust the poke potential of the wheel with them. With the rubber I intend to run in front I would prefer not to have too much poke hence keeping the et 47 and adjust with spacers.

Oh, I understood that AR Motorwerks provided excellent service and offered multiple ways to fix the issue. That's good feedback because you never know about the quality of service of a vendor until people let you know!

I just would have taken their offer for correct wheels.
