2015 M235i - Is this the right price?

I'm looking to buy a 2015 M235i with 24,700 miles, MT, gray exterior, black interior. The dealer is asking for $31,000 but I think I can probably negotiate down to $29,000 or lower.

I see similar cars that are AT going for $25,000-$28,000, but I am seeing that MT are having a hard time dipping below $29,000.

KBB for the manual averages about $27,500, with some as low as $25,000 for but I just don't see that playing out in real life for MT. Does that sound right to you?

The mileage is higher than what I wanted, but I've been having a really hard time finding a gray M235i with MT. Should I wait until something that has been driven about 10,000 miles less becomes available? Not sure if I should pull the trigger on this. I would need to travel (flight, then 10 hour drive home).

Garage List
is it CPO? if so, how much time / mileage remaining? you'll likely pay a $1500-$2000 premium if it's got more than a year left.

how about xdrive? could also depend on option packages...but i agree that you should be able to get under $30K at this point for a '15 M235 MT xdrive unless it's optioned to the gills and has significant CPO coverage remaining.

It is not CPO, and factory warranty expires in 6 months. How concerning is that?

It is not xdrive because they don't make MT in xdrive, if I understand correctly. It is optioned pretty well Cold weather and Driver Assistance packages...with almost everything except navigation.

It really comes down to the options. I would say for a 2015 with 24k miles is pretty good, that’s around 6k miles driven a year. You have to take into consideration it’s about 4 years old. If you want 10k miles or less you’re probably going to have to be looking at an m240i which cost significantly more unless you find a one off unicorn with low miles. With that being said once again it comes down to options, when I was looking for my car it had to have at least park assist, navigation, Harman –Kardon, and the comfort package. Cars with barely any options you can get fairly cheap. With that being said the car as you described I’d probably shoot for 28-29 otd.

Get the 2015 with better options..

What's the point of getting a BMW if it's going to be base :

I once bought a base F-generation Mini S mainly because I got a great deal on it but every time they gave me a loaded Mini loaner, I got jealous and pissed off that mines lacked all the cool features.. I couldn't wait to trade it in!

Never again, now I check all the boxes when I'm ordering a new beamer, that way I have no regrets

And beside, the 2015 is a manual #Sold

For comparison I recently bought a '16 F23 M235i Convertible with 18k miles and immaculate condition for $31k +tax. Has nearly all the options.

1) You KNOW the answer to that one!

2)

3) Beamers are motorcycles made by BMW; Bimmers are cars made by BMW. Lesson over!

are we taking grammar advice from Lloyd Banks?

Bimmer is a car... it always has been and always will be.

Now people that don't know better will call it a beamer or whatever they want. Don't mean they are correct.

Well since you're apparently the paragon of answers, I guess I have to take your word for it.

Forgiveness o wise one, I will be sure to use the correct "slang" term next time.
