How much off MSRP should I ask?

Currently looking to get rid of our 335i and cross shopping a 230xi with a cla250 4matic.

MSRP on the 19 cla250 is 44,340 and so far I asked the dealer to discount the car to 7% and they agreed.
Same with BMW dealer but it seems bmw has way more wiggle room and incentives. What are some of you guys getting off MSRP? It's going to be a car for my wife I'm leasing...

I just got an M240i Xdrive M Performance twice. One was totaled and not my fault. It's msrp was about 55k. They immediately took 3k off and then I got another 4500 off from regular rebates and brand loyalty discount which was only about 1k. That really worked out in my favor when the first one was totaled and I got to bank all that extra cash. lol

Wow that's a heck of a deal and it worked out for you in the end as you stated. You can't go wrong with a m240, my wife doesn't need that type of speed lol. How do you like it overall?

There was about 3,500 in rebates that month. They always have them listed on bmw's site and that was for any 2 series. Like I said too, if they aren't taking 3k directly off the top don't buy it. Sounds like they already have. If you're leasing it looks like they may have a 2k lease credit right now so you should have about 5k or so off the top. One thing you should know is the 2 series doesn't lease well. So expect a higher than normal payment.

Yeah my wife had a 15 228i lease and it was still high for my liking. There were 3 series that were cheaper but that's what she wanted.

My wifes lease on her 18' 330 M sport msrp was 2k more than mine and she pays probably $80 less a month. It's the residual that gets you. The 3 series is worth more at the end of the lease so effectively you pay more on your lease. It sucks but I still love my m240. lol. Maybe in 3 years I'll price out an M340 and compare.
