Strut spreader tool - It will make removing your strut a bit easier

We still see the question pop up once in a while on how to get the strut out of the spindle. Here is a handy tool that will help spread the spindle to allow easier removal of the strut:

In addition to the tool, spraying a bit of penetrating oil (only need a very little amount) on the strut/knuckle interface will help it slide in/out very easily. It can still be a bit difficult to pull the strut out with just the spreader tool.

if you have corrosion, a bit of lubricant can help.
