I just read that the wheelbase is 51mm longer than previous. That means that it's now longer than the E36 & E46 wheelbase. Boo!!!

The manual will definitely come to the US market for the M2. No manual option for the M240.

Wow, yes enjoy! Here in the U.K. the 2er has been 8AT for almost 2 years already in the M140i and M240i

Aways felt it was a great sweet spot with the manual.

I'm hoping that G series resolves some quite poor pedal offset I felt in my RHD F22 M235i

This is starting to look good. Long nose, short overhangs, no buck tooth grill, design cues from the 2002. If it truly is a slightly detuned S58 with RWD and a stick it's going to a winner. Might even make people regret an M3/M4 purchase. Just waiting for the line up announcement (base, Comp, CS, or ?) and I'm putting down a deposit.
