Agree, although relative to other SUVs they've got some entertainment value. I shopped the XC90 and Q7 and RangeRover Sport alternatives, and the X5 50i was the most fun. But it's a distinction roughly akin to having the biggest dick in the 3rd grade.

My friend bought one when I was still deciding. She has the r sport model. It's nice but after riding in it I was like nah this isn't for me.
It just doesn't have the same fit and finish. Give me the X5 or X7 any day! After today and the hit I took I am BMW from here on out, the safety is impressive for sure!
Oh damn, you ok?

I have the X5 M Sport and when I tell you I looked at every damn SUV out there and didn't love any of them. I remember when my husband said do you want to look at the X5 & my first words were no. They haven't changed the inside styling in years and it's just ugly. We stopped by and I said oh ok they finally got it together. I drive a SUV because I need the space but want something sporty with some ass in it. I don't want a grocery hauler.

For sure...my X5 isn't my twisty road car. I have others for that!

No I am not implying any other brand would have left me hurt..only that I have been driving for 30 years and never felt safer. Sure technology has changed since my 89 ranger up through the other cars I have owned today. Love the X5 and love and peace to all!!

Nothing changed for me. When babysitting your kid 24/7, coronavirus only means no more traffic well and no more toilet paper

I don't know about where you guys live, but traffic and crowds in south Florida are just about as bad as ever. Had to venture out for the first time this week to fill a prescription and got a full standard dose of idiots and incompetents

I have been home since Saturday and I am already going crazy... It might be another 3-4 weeks before we go back to the office.

I honestly feel like I am in prison. It's still cold/rainy here so can't even enjoy being on the balcony.

Pretty much same sentiments as you. Told our team on a staff call yesterday that it’s week one and I’m already think I’m gonna go bananas. Being forced to stay in does make it feel like prison. Sun came out for a bit today and I sat in the backyard with my dog reading Car & Driver. That helped a bit.

My kid commutes about 20 miles to work each morning. He too says it has been nice.
