Connected App - Not showing Remote Services
Hi all
Quite frustrated that I can't use or even see the remote services (lock, unlock, ventilation etc) from within the Connected app, and BMW are not being helpful on this even though it's a paid extra. Few quick facts: - 2018 220d with remote services - On the web login, I have remote services enabled - On the Connected app my vehicle is added and links just fine to show me the general info, ie mileage, fuel range etc. - There is simply nothing visible for the remote services - Did an uninstall, reinstall, disable remote services, re-enable etc. - BMW basically told me to go to the dealership, which I did - At the dealership, a BMW genius showed me that it works on his phone (same phone as mine S7), i.e. he could access the remote services for my car, and that because it worked on his phone, he can't help any further. So basically - BMW is unwilling to help any further. Even though logically, technical/IT should be assisting me with this. As a workaround for now, I log into the "web portal" using my phone browser, and switch on the ventilation from there, and this works fine. How can I resolve this? Has anyone had this problem before? |
