Passenger side central locking?

I have a UK 2015 F45 220D M Sport & the central locking switch is on the drivers door (right) . on the passenger side is a blank plate so i'm wondering if its possible to fit a functioning central locking switch on the passenger door so my wife doesn't have to keep reaching across to drivers door to lock if I jump out the car for a minute while she's still in the car?

A used passenger switch seems to be available on ebay but wondering if wiring is already there & if any coding is needed?

Cheers

Phil
