After dusting/vacuuming to remove the loose stuff, I use Meguiar's M4016 Mirror Glaze Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner on the plastic bits and Meguiar's G201324SP Ultimate Leather Detailer. Both clean and condition as well as offer UV protection.

Gave it a nice 👌 wash 🧼 the other day and took it to my local park today and used the opportunity to take some pictures.

25mm H&R lowering springs and M Performance bump stops fitted.

The ride quality hasn’t changed one bit but the stance is killer now!

GTS bonnet/hood being fitted on Saturday so I’ll be back then

That looks great and fitment looks good too. Who did the work on that? Are you going to add any Sliplo scrape guard on it? I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone do that.

A local fab shop to me, Invictus Aero, built the part. And yes, it has SlipLo on the leading edge.

Im aware of Artwork Bodyshop in Canada having a similar kit for the M2, but I called for their dimensions and it was way too big for my narrower 230i. Also Ive heard of people getting custom units from MFR Engineering and AeroFlow Dynamics (both SoCal) but didnt find much info in the forums or on Instagram, etc. I was surprised - the Fxx M2/M3/M4 and E46/9X communities have dozens of threads on track-oriented aero options but almost no one seems to be doing it on the 235/240i, let alone a 230i like mine.

I have had my car listed for sale on this forum as well as Facebook marketplace. No serious inquiries at all. Feedback from other forum members is to bring the car all the way back to stock, lower the price a little, and sell off mods, wheels set, diff, etc to maximize my return. Not sure how aggressive I will get with doing all that work. And what if I still don't get a large enough offer to part with the car?

I lost one of the mirror cap covers in the carwash last week. I put on some aftermarket ones that are color matched to the car. The dude in the car wash noticed it was missing, walked back through the line and found it for me. Unfortunately, 2 of the 3 clips are broken on the piece so it will not secure properly. Went back to the stock silver covers.

Yes never sell a modded car if you are handy enough to remove the mods.

You can sell the mods and buyers don’t typically want a modded car and are scared if it was abused.

Removed all the under panels (4 in total) , sprayed the underside with water and then removed any rust on the subframe with rust converter

Once it cured I applied some marine grease (spray and brush) to the subframe avoiding any rubber.

The panels keep a lot of crud out but are not perfect at keeping crud and salt out. The brake lines were in good shape. They look like painted steel unlike Volvo who uses copper

Yeah maybe I am being silly but I figured there would be some buyers out there that would want a car with a couple mods on it. Especially 2 sets of wheels and the LSD and MPE (both of which are BMW factory accessories). Test drive the car, take it to a shop and have it inspected, etc. Going this route I know I am severely limiting my market but I'm also in no rush to sell.

Got the engine oil report back the other day from Blackstone Labs. Liqui-Moly 0W-20, changes every 5k miles.

So this means you can extend your interval?

0w-20 seems thin

20W-50 also "looks" thin at 200 degrees.

I guess so, but I'll continue to change it out every 5k miles regardless based on the results I've been getting.

I have had zero bites on selling my car. Looks like either I will have to discount the price or just keep it and wait for a couple years for the new M2 (who knows that I will want to do in 2 years....). In the meantime I turned the MHD tune back on, and will be going back to XHP but only going on stage 1. Might as well go out and enjoy the car and the mods. Waiting to hear on this month's new M2 allocation from the local dealers but guessing I'm still deep on the waiting list. Cheers to finally having warm weather driving and sticking to the road.

What hitch did you go with? Did it require any cutting ?
