Changing out the whole interior
I purchased the car I have because it met all my requirements. Estoril Blue convertible with a manual transmission, low miles and no accidents.
That didn't leave me much room to be picky, so I had to forgo nav, HK (I know but I would have lived with it) and the right interior color. I have retrofitted touchscreen nav and upgraded the speakers and amp. But I am still not a fan of the black interior. not bad but doesn't move me. Soooo I am going to put in a terra interior I bought online. I had to take the door cads off to put in the speakers and had taken the front seats mostly off on my last F30 to upgrade woofers, so I am thinking this is a project I can do alone. By far the hardest thing we're the rear cards. may see if it looks ok left black back there. Has anyone tried it?

I took off the rear cards for a seatbelt replacement and it was quite simple. Just some pins and that's basically it.

I took my rears out to install speakers and couldn't get them back in - convertible is tough. Worst case scenario pop over to the dealer, they installed mine in 10 minutes didn't even charge me.
