When we can we expect more b46/230 mods?
When can we expect more mods to come out for the b46 engine/230i? Or is what's out pretty much what we're gonna get? Thinking things like exhausts etc. There are so many options for the 228, but not that many for the 230. Or is it strictly just based on demand?
Is there a lag time between when cars come out and then when mods are released, as manufacturers wait for enough cars to be on the road that can be modded? |

My father had a B46 F30 330i and VRSF has a catless dp available for it. Will fit the 230i too. Really cut back the turbo lag and woke the car up. Was able to run pretty agressive map on a JB4. Car ran 13.5 in very hot weather at 101mph and got 42mpg on the hwy.

The 230i is not all that common to begin with and even fewer are modified. That said, I do think most of the typical enthusiast stuff is available, there's just not much choice of different brands and it tends to be a bit upmarket in price because it's a new BMW. There's a few intakes, a couple charge pipes, a few flash and/or piggyback tuners, a couple cats, and a couple exhausts. Pure even does big turbos and methanol injection. Info on modifying the B46/48 is a lot better on the 3-series forums.
