Installed 18” Apex ARC-8’s et38 in HyperBlack - Wrapped in MPS-A/S3+ 235/40 square.

Love how dynamic this finish is. Very psyched

Figured out how to adjust my hood as it was delivered with the hood about 1/8" lower than the front valance. Just barely noticeable but in a former life I was a quality inspector on aircraft. Figured the latches were fixed so there must be a way to adjust the two rectangular rings in the hood. Sure enough the plastic surround pops down and three half turns on each ring put the hood flush with the front valance. I am surprised that this made it out of the factory QA line but happy now as that was the only flaw I had discovered.

Good information right here. I have been curious about how to fix this for awhile but after two years of it being “off” I’ve just learned to ignore it. Today, I think I’ll take your lead and finally get it flush.

I'm approaching 85k miles, so the car is getting a suspension refresh. Still deciding on either Dinan springs or MSS springs to pair with these B6 struts/shocks.

Really interested in how you go with this. I am about to install (next few weeks, hopefully over the holidays) the MSS Sport springs on to my M240i with 15,000 miles. I did think about installing the B6 struts but decided to leave it for a bit and go with the springs only. With only 15k miles I decided that the oem struts still had plenty of life in them although I am sure that the B6 struts would be a significant improvement.

Did some more coding with Bimmercode and got rid of the Volume pop up on the display. Set the mirrors to fold on lock. Changed the startup logo to "M" on the display to name a few.

Learned that presets while in the NAV mode actually store the zoom distance on the map so I set several of those as I still always turn the knob the "wrong" way and zoom out when I want in.

Also discovered that the M240 does come with the "sport" displays. Not sure how accurate the power and torque values are but I felt I got really close to the 335 HP she is capable of while still staying below the break-in limit of 4,500 RPM, only have 680 miles on the girl. Loving this car more and more each time I drive it.

Put the winter shoes on the car today. We have a Nor'Easter coming this week that is going to dump 12-16" according to the weather people. Looks like it will be a long winter this year!

Bought my m235i today from a different state and drove it 6h home. Beautiful car, seems to have been well kept and has good service records but found my first issue arriving home. Transmission won't get into park, whenever I press the button it just goes into neutral, the dash shows "secure vehicle against rolling".

I drove the car some time before taking the long trip and Park worked every time I tried. I'm afraid this could be expensive

Haven't pulled the codes yet, will probably create a thread here whenever Im allowed to and see if anyone has faced this issue

No, no combination works. Tried shutting the car off, pressing the park button with the car on, pressing while in R, in D, in S, etc. I hear soemthing mecanical trying to actuate but it always goes to N.

The car realizes I pressed P but Park was not engaged so it warns me that the vehicle could roll away withou the parking brake. Since there is this warning I assume there must be a code, gonna scan it later today

Congrats on the purchase, but sorry to hear about the park issue, hope you can get it resolved relatively painlessly. In the meantime at least you have the e brake so you don't have to stop driving altogether.

Thank you bro! The car is currently wrapped in satin black, which after seeing it in person I hate it a lot less than I thought I would, but will be removing next year probably.

There is some developments on the park issue, earlier, after pulling the codes, I realized that Park is actually engaging but the sensor (or connection to it) that sees that position isn't working properly and is returning the incorrect "N" value to the computers. Gonna start chasing it soon enough.

Figured out a good solution to cut the shine on my leather. Look how matte the passenger seat is now compared to the driver side!
