BMW 218D flashing/Tuning?

Hi guys!

I used to own an E90 335I with about 500HP, and damn i miss it alot! But for some difficulties i had to get rid of the car, and for the next short while, i will be going in something a little smarter (economically that is)

I see online that you can get flashing files for about 150$ with people "custom" coding it on websites such as: dyno-chiptuningfiles

But with my old N54 engine i remember having both the JB4 but also the backend MHD flashing app. I thought that app was pretty great and it was very easy to flash my car. Both to the faster stage setup, or back to regular if that was needed.

Does anything alike exist, or what would you guys suggest? I can see that it seems fairly reasonable to get the car to around 190HP, so i would love to get it flashed.

Why don’t you get a box? Works reliably on diesels and is easy to remove. Racechip is one such option.

I do consider it as well. Those are just normally the priceyer options. I was just wondering if anything like MHD exists for the 218D

I've a 218d and had a custom map flashed. Took bhp from 150 to 190.
Made a significant difference. Much more responsive at lower revs.
I would say performance is almost on par with my old E46 330 petrol.
