That's so naive. Yes, you can re-lock the DME, but BMW can read the check sum counter and see the car has been flashed.

Ok well don't they flash it any way to clear codes sometimes during maintenance or repair ? So then a flash or 2 is normal right? Or can they see exactly what your changing in your maps ?

You are aware that many/most tuning companies adjust the check sum counter so that this doesn't happen
