New Release! SPL Front Lower Control Arms Street Version F2x F3x

SPL Parts Front Lower Control Arms (FLCA) provide roll center, camber, and track width adjustment for the BMW F2X/F3X, and allow for full articulation with the proper ball joint angle. The main arm is slotted to allow the use of pinch bolts, and our rotating clamps on SPL Parts' exclusive Double Adjuster lock down camber and track width settings. No more jam nuts!! Long gone are the days of fumbling with multiple wrenches to tighten jam nuts in place while trying to keep your bearings oriented correctly.

Our Double Adjuster is machined from 4130 Chromoly, gun drilled to reduce weight, then electroless nickel plated for corrosion resistance. Blue Anodized Titanium hardware shaves even more unsprung weight from the arms without compromising strength. Stainless Steel spacers are provided to correct roll center for lowered vehicles. The use of FK Rod Ends and High Misalignment Spherical Bearings eliminates the flex and binding found in the OEM control arms, while allowing smooth articulation.

Sold as a pair.

Made in the USA!

SPL Parts Billet Lower Control/Trailing Arms Feature:
• Lightweight 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum and Titanium Hardware
• Electroless nickel plated 4130 Chromoly Double Adjuster for quick adjustment
• Correct ball joint angle for full articulation
• Rotating Clamp design allows for easy access to lock down alignment settings
• Low friction 3 piece Teflon lined FK sphericals and Heim joints/rod ends
• Multiple size Stainless Steel roll center spacers for precise adjustment

Applications:

2010+ F2X

2011+ F3X

Why post this in the 2 series forum ? Do they work on the m235? From your list they are not supported.

Will this also require a tension strut and spacers to get it to align correctly on an F2x like the M4 LCAs? Or is this a one-part solution for fixing the camber problem these cars have when tracking?

You will still need the tension rod with spacers if you want to get the wheel back to its OE location.

One may choose to do this only instead of camber plates but camber plates are still recommended as the primary method for adding camber.

SPL makes solid (pun intended) suspension components that are race-proven. Have their rear camber arms on my other car and it's stout! If I start messing with my suspension more, I'll be looking to get these.

What's the price?

SPL should have some data soon as to the amount of camber gain possible from the lower arms. Could be a good solution for those looking to add negative camber but don't want to go with the camber plate route.

Got any update on how much camber adjustability this’ll allow for? Also, any chance for a kit with the tension struts and spacers?

NVH will slightly increase, but shouldn't really be an issue if you're considering SPL parts at all (functional track mods). As far as resilience and longevity, these are of very high quality and will outlast most others. Mine withstood years of track abuse that previous components from other brands could not.

I see that these are setup for use with the headlight leveling arm, but which one do you use? F8x or stock headlight leveler arm things?

I'm guessing it's the same as the f8x arms since these are made for those cars.
