Calling all lowered cars!

Hey everyone, just wanted to know how much clearance people running with respect to the front bumper/lip to the ground?

pics of ride height would be great too!

Thanks.

Dinan springs, not a whole lot of space, about 4"? When I install my coilovers I'll be a bit higher up front. Haven't had too many issues, just gotta be mindful of your angles and approaches to driveways/ speed bumps.

Just to get the thread going, here's mine. 4 finger clearance front lip to ground. So far no scrapes but debating if I need to raise for winter or not.

I have the KW V3 gepfeffert coilovers.. gepfeffert means shorter schock absorbers.

Clearance between lip and ground is about 2inch.
It will be lower in the front after the new wheels are installed

Very nice car. Like that Melbourne Red. I said it in a previous thread,but I'll say it again: the Dinan springs give your x-drive the look of a RWD.

Love it! Also wondering if it's a staggered setup?

I never considered what my front bumper/lip to the ground clearance was. I'll measure in the morning.

Snapped this for ya, I measure 3.75" from bottom of the lip, to the ground. A little lower than my Dinan setup, now on coils. Don't mind the bugs splats, it's a daily battle..;

2 years in the winter and no issues. car becomes stupid stuff and rough when it gets to -30C or colder but everything is frozen at that point so it's to be expected

Never raised for winter. But I had broken 2 lips over the last 2 years because of the snow and ice storm when the snow gets piled between the tire tracks. This year I just avoided driving the car on the big storm days. If I break 1 more lip the bumper will need to be replaced.
