factory staggered fitment voids warranty??

On the Tire Rack website the one of the reviews for the 'Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06' mentioned that a staggered setup would void the 45k warranty.

True??

Is this common, even for a factory setup????

Since u can’t rotate staggered tires / tire manufacturers won’t give a mileage warranty for them.

If you're staggered the warranty is 50%, so you'd get 22500 mile warranty.
