Bmw Spark Plugs Vs Bosch
CHANGED PLUGS at 48,200 and even though I found many post saying to go NGK or BMW OEM - I went with the Bosch Part # ZR5TPP33-S
They look the same with the exception : BMW R6 / Bosch R8 although the part numbers are the same. I doubt I will be able to tell the difference -- wonder if there really is. Bosch cost half of the BMW labeled plugs and then if you factor in the FCP Euro warranty - about 75% less. . . Cheers! Happy 4th! |

The OE BMW plug looks longer to me too.
How does it run with Bosch plugs.Mike Miller always advises using BMW plugs to ensure a smooth running engine. |

I can't Tell
Quote:
If they go bad - back to FCP EURO they will go. Since I am changing them pre-50K and I am running stock -- I doubt there will ever be an issue. |

Is it just me who doesn't trust Bosch after the whole debacle with their ignition coils in the E90/E92's? By 38k miles, I had to swap out 2 coils on my N54 335i. It was a known problem with Bosch coils and everyone I knew who had an N54 had the same issue and all converted over to Delphi.
