Scott26: i've spoken to someone who told me that there is NO 2 Gran Coupe (4 door) in the pipeline at all. No plans to make a 4 door. This is contrary to what you've stated in the past. I've also been told the M2 is "42 months away". Any further thoughts or updates regarding these 2 ideas/cars?

I've never been 100% in love with the front end of my e82, but I'm really digging the M235i. Too bad about that hood line. I heard somewhere this is to comply with EU pedestrian crash standards? Why can't people just stay out of the road?! I'm not sure how I feel about the interior though. Doesn't seem as "clean" as the e82. I guess I'll have to see it in person.

I may have to go aftermarket, or else go with what I hope will be a BMW performance option.

![]() I just prefer the bright silver finish that I have on my wheels now--most cars don't have it, and it looks awesome when the car is rolling by. ![]()

Judging by the pic of the 220d with silver wheels, they'll exist in regular silver. Of course I don't know if you can order the M235i with them that way yet. Wurth silver is a match to the BMW finish though, should you be adventurous.
Oops, not the same wheel as the M235i. |

At least in that interior pic, the seats look like they might be thinner than what our E82 had, allowing for more effective space in the back, which would be very nice.
