Sound insulation

I've been installing sound insulation in my 2018 M240i. I'm now starting on the doors. My question is can I install the insulation without interfering with the re-installation of the door card? I'm installing Stinger RKXTK Roadkill Expert Series insulation. It's about 0.1" thick.

Sure, just avoid the holes for the push clips. some (not at perimeter you can just go over and poke through with an awl.

I only did this around the speaker opening but you could do much of the surface or even on the door skin itself through the openings if you peel back the water be barrier.

Thanks! Yeah, I read up on www.newtis.info about the water barrier. Seems you need a PhD to work on these cars!
