I wish they got on this sooner. I would love to have this but the coming models are gonna be missing other options I'd prefer.

I saw that this is for cars with iDrive 7. Do the 2020 230i / M240i have the newest iDrive? Or are they still on iDrive 6?

The lease on my 2018 A4 6MT is up in October and I'm thinking about ordering an M240i (i miss my 2015 228i M sport / track). I've gotten used to having Android Auto available in the Audi, so it would kind of suck to lose that. Whether it's a dealbreaker I haven't decided.

But it's unclear to me if the current 2 series has or will get iDrive 7 or not.

You can’t compare an OEM system to an android aftermarket unit... It’s equivalent to putting the cheapest aftermarket wheels on a nice car.

I've actually been looking at bimmertechs Android mmi. but there are other mods that I want to do first.
