Widest Tire M240i Xdrive
I've been on the fence about getting new rims, but I've decided to stick with my stock M405 7.5Jx19f + 8Jx19r rims. I want to upgrade my run-flats to Michellin PS4S. My question is what is the biggest tire I can fit if I go with a square setup and what is the biggest tire I can fit if I stick with a staggered setup?

I have 18's but same width staggered and the safe bet is stock setup with 225 front and 245 rear - ample traction for me. To go wider you'll need wider wheels. I've seen people post about 255s and even 265s on the rears - usually 9 or 9.5 width. I think that square setup of 245s is what APEX recommends if you're going square with their wheels. 235 and 255 if staggered.
Here's the chart you can refer to for wheel/tire sizing: https://www.tyresizecalculator.com/c...rim-size-chart |
