I'm looking forward to any info you might have on installation, I've read that some 3m double sided tape is necessary. I want to drill as few holes as possible.
Install video....might help you plan it out

Hello,

Sorry for my late reply but just recalled our sort of conversation about frp vs carbon. I got a message from my friend from paint shop.
So the problem is that the finerglass is a bit wet on one spot (in the center that will be black) and that causes the issue because of which it takes so long to paint. Water that is inside evaporates and makes bubbles on the paint.
Honestly, I wouldn't recomend it. If I could go back in time, I'd get the carbon one for sure and get painted that one (on sides).

I have carbon fiber exhaust tips so it wouldn't look good as it will look now but at least my friend wouldn't execrate me, haha.
See the pics bellow (also of the tips) :-)[IMG][/IMG]

Thanks for the reply and the valuable info. With this diffuser do you need to use screws on the top part of the bumper? I think the original just snaps into place. Are there obvious gaps in fitments?

Nope, it's replicating the fitting style of OEM diffuser. It has a clips on the sides and at the top. At the bottom you're going to attach it with oem screws.
Sadly mine didn't come pre-drilled...

Anybody have the prior-design diffuser? Hands down the nicest and most aggressive diffuser I've seen.

It looks like that will only work with their PD2XX bumper.

Does anyone know what diffuser this is? I've been trying to find it everywhere.

I just ordered the remus exhaust. Do the tips stick out enough to where you can see where it says remus or is it covered, with the m performance diffuser?

I am confused, if this is the M Performance rear diffuser and our cars are sold as M cars, why didn't the M235i just come with this diffuser from the factory?

I love my car so far but it seams like they really held back on the styling. The rims and tires were weak, the mirror caps, the grill and the rear diffuser wear all very weak for an "M car".

I's say check out RW Carbon's rear diffuser, I have their rear spoiler and mirror caps and the carbon looks awesome and the fitment was perfect. I'll probably get the diffuser some point in the future.
