My understanding is that it tricks the computer to not throw a code since it doesn't have have a flap to control.

Did it come with the MPE or did you order it separately?

How's the install coming?

I haven't buy the MPE yet for 2 reasons:

1. I'm still wondering if this is the right MPE for the M240i since it doesn't have the valve actuator for driving modes.

2. I've seen videos in Youtube and frankly i don't like the sound. I had the MPE in a M235i and the sound was awesome. I'm not really convinced about this one....

Let's wait some reviews from the other users...

For what it's worth, as of Friday I found the BMW USA configurator for the MPE M240i listed with the part number 18302424608. Here's a pic...attached

Please refer to page 1 of this thread.. NO actuator on this exhaust and it comes with a plug for the wire connection.

Tips are required for this exhaust to fit the diffuser

Steel or Carbon, the latter costs twice the price

You can also add the tips only without the exhaust
