[BEM-S4]

Long story short, dealer needs to flash my car and can only do so with stock amp installed. I have upgraded to Bavsound and I have no idea where the original is, I may have even sold it. Anyone have one laying around that I could borrow for a day or two? Dealer literally needs to plug it into my car for 15 minutes before reinstalling my Bavsound one. Thanks in advance.

Had you tried calling those auto recyclers that advertise in Roundel? They might sell you one for cheap enough that it was worthwhile. I'm about to ring them up to find an alternate headrest (helmet room), but haven't had any experience to know how their pricing is.

There's actually a pretty large BMW salvage yard 5 miles from my office, I called them yesterday but 2-series parts are few and far between.

Thanks anyway. All I really need is the CAN bus, wonder if it's the same HiFi to HK.

For those who may run into similar issues, I am working with Elias at TechnicPNP on a custom harness that would allow us to keep both stock and aftermarket amps installed at the same time. Stock would just have power and CAN bus, so would be visible to the system for upgrades.

Why do you need to upgrade? BMW told me not to because it could brick the system and then I'd have to buy a new one

A sensor for the alarm went bad, to install new one they had to upgrade.
