I just sold my M235i convertible and am selling my AWE Axle Back Touring Exhaust with 90 mm Diamond Black exhaust tips. This exhaust is amazing, fits perfectly and sounds incredible. Lots of pops and burbles and it really wails when on it. The best part is that is it pretty quiet at cruise, 60-80, and ABSOLUTELY NO DRONE!
I paid about $1200+ for this and it has been on for about 2 1/2 years. 18,000 miles. It sounds as good now as the first day it was on. Looks brand new underneath as well.

Hi there,

Do you have any images of the exhaust you can send me? I have the MPE currently with a catted downpipe. Any experience with the mpe vs this one? I'm seeing that the awe has a deeper tone...also, cost shipped to Sausalito California? Thanks! Jamie

Says a catback on here would be about $1,700.. if you bought it for $1,200 brand new then that’s just an axleback.. So do you have an axleback or catback? Just clarifying

I can get you pics this afternoon, and I don’t have any experience with the
MPE. I will call AWE tomorrow and see how to ship. I bought mine there and they installed it.

I have what they call the Touring Exhaust. They also sell a mid pipe to complement it. Very loud. I also got one of the first ones and they did give me a courtesy.

for shipping to west coast. Should be similar for anybody.

FYI, an axleback exhaust with a midpipe is called a catback, two different things in sound and price that’s why I had to ask lol thanks

If anybody is interested, I contacted AWE to see if they would pack my exhaust as they do from the factory. Here is their response.

"We can get you the packing but in all honesty, it is not as inexpensive as we hoped. For a proper sized box and bubble wrap and packing paper, it will be about $43.00 for that system as we box them for shipping."

I will pick up the packaging cost to ensure this comes in perfect condition.
BTW the underside of the exhaust looks brand new, no corrosion whatsoever.
