As long as you have completed the BMW intensive driving experience

So got an email, saying that we def do qualify for the intensive driving voucher if purchased an M235i.

Mr Impatience here has received an email from BMW customer service explaining it takes 2 to 3 weeks from when you receive the welcome phone call (which I got last week).

Once again impressed with the customer service and responsiveness of BMW.

Too much in my experience. I did the driving experience at Barbagallos 3rd September.
First I did the Autocross in 125i which was fun.
Then I went out in a M4 for laps. The instructor was in a lead car and there were three cars behind. Each of us got two laps directly behind him.

I'm definitely no pro but I've done a fair few laps there so was fairly comfortable. He really held back the pace forcing me to back off the throttle really early. That combined with over intrusive DCS/TC that we weren't allowed to touch made it all a bit frustrating.

We then did the same in the 125i which was actually more fun as the instructor was still in a M4 so he wasn't holding me up in the much slower 125i.

The laps as a passenger in the M3 with the pro driving fast then very sideways were pretty awesome.

An update: I received my welcome pack in the mail last week, no voucher. Emailed BMW, and -again prompt response - they confirmed, yes, we are entitled to the complimentary drive day, provided my reference number to make the booking.

I will try for the upgraded course.

I assume that this is only for recent purchases, not us that purchased a year ago? I've done the first 3 levels with BMW Driver Training in the past.

Think it's for all M235. Bought mine in June 14 (correction: bought June delivered October) and I have a voucher. It should be transferable.
